Last night was a cold and stormy night to have dinner in a covered patio. But since dinner was already paid for ($90/head $35/wine pairing), Jon and I decided we should probably go through with it.
The menu was not what we were expecting. It was more of a French-American approach to Foie Gras as opposed to Greek. A departure of what the restaurant usually serves. I say restaurant loosely because Myth is known as the newest hot club (do people say that?) in Downtown San Jose (now I feel like Club Kid Stefon for saying that). I think the chef did a pretty good job considering his kitchen is probably not equipped to serve so many people. Some of the dishes were closer to room temperature. The first course would have been better chilled, some other would have been better warmer, but everything tasted good. We split a wine pairing between the two of us and the sommelier did a pretty good job.
Overall it was a good experience. Other then the rain, the cold, the constant fear that the wind is going to blow the canopy in. I thought it was a pretty good dinner. Looking forward to another Dishcrawl experience. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
